Mass and DP

Just got back from St. Dominic's. Pray with perseverance! I love the story of Esther ... especially her bravery in approaching the king in order to save her people. Her name will be remembered always. As a Lay Missionary of Charity there is a prayer I pray frequently. There is more to it but the hardest part is as follows:

O Jesus, by the wound of your Sacred side give me the grace of Perseverance in your holy service, in this Society and a martyr's death.

Mother Teresa said that she would give martyr's to the Church and she has. I hope that I would be brave if the situation would arise that would bring about martyrdom.
