Well today is LMC day! In this area - actually close to 50 miles away - we have a meeting of the Lay Missionaries of Charity. It is becoming more and more evident that there is a bit of a problem with the rule of life. When I joined the LMCs there were temporary vows followed by vows for life. Now with annual renewal that can be a problem. What if the person is too sick to come to the meeting at the date of the annual renewal? And about the 9 monthly meetings during the year? What about our sick and suffering members? Should they be forced to come to those meetings? What to do?
